Many are scared to talk about God as they don’t want to force religion on anybody. I would agree with not wanting to force anything on anybody, as “Kindness of God, leads to repentance”? Are you willing to take a quick study through evangelism training so you can lead others to Christ? Would you tell this lost generation the truth?
Let me share a quick analogy with you… If I’m about to drink a cup of poison, but don’t know its poison, though you do. If I drink and die, does that make you guilty for not telling me? Its the same way…once you know the TRUTH. There is only one way to heaven and to be apart from God is eternity in everlasting fire, which is the cup of poison so many are about to drink.
There are many that read the Bible and cannot find the truth. Why?
So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” 31 And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him.” Acts 8:30-32
It is our responsibility as Christians to preach the Gospel to the lost.
For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Cor 4:5-6
As Christians (meaning Christ-like) we are called to be a light in dark places. Whats the use of shining your light where there is alright light? You don’t turn on the lights if there is already a lamp giving you light? Its the same way, we’re not suppose to only remain within the church, but to also go out into the dark places.
How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!” 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Rom 10:14-17
If His Word is in us, then we won’t be able to keep the Truth within us. Jeremy couldn’t keep quiet with what God was telling him to do. Even if it ment to give the prophecy to a king that would try to put him in jail. I’m not saying to to and get yourself thrown in jail for the Gospel’s sake, but to pray that God will give you a passion like this man had.
Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not. Jer 20:9
Who’s blood will be on your hands? Like I mentioned earlier, its time we speak up to those people who are about to drink a cup of poison. If we don’t then it is blood on our hands. Not that we have to force them to follow Jesus, but rather tell the truth about our sin and what Jesus did to save us. It’s up to God to save them not us, we aren’t able to do that, but we can share the loving message of freedom from sin.
When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. 19 Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul. Ezek 3:18-19
Evangelizing
Here are a few simple methods you can use to evangelize. I challenge you to pick at least one of these methods, and apply it to your life.
Online Evangelism
View how many people are getting saved online through Global Media Outreach live stream.
Become an online missionary and volunteer at GMO or visit their site click here. I’ve personally meet some of the spokesman of GMO and couldn’t recommend them enough. They are asking for people to answer two emails a day with those who are getting saved online. We need your help for this is the generation of social media and technology!
Steps in witnessing to those around you
- Pray for peace every time you enter a new place
- Pray for a chance to be able to share your faith
- Encourage those you meet by being friendly, then ask them if they need prayer. Allow God’s love to be shown through your life
Start a Bible Study
- Invite people you know to your house for a Bible study
- Go through 1 Chapter a week (preferably Gospel of John for non-believers and new Christians)
- Have some questions written up to ask after you’ve read the chapter to encourage open discussion
Evangelism Training Is A Process
Tips: Don’t demand a commitment and don’t get upset when somebody doesn’t show up. Just meet with later and encourage them to come the next week. Non-believers will do this, so just expect it and be prepared.
- When asking questions, ask them what is the Bible trying to say? If they say they don’t believe it, then thats okay, just help them see what the Bible is trying to say. Continue with the Bible study, without forcing anybody to believe. Allow God to convict them and reveal the Scriptures to them.

This is something I’m personally involved in and enjoy it so much. I’m so blessed to have the best job in the world, telling many people about Christ. Each week I see so many people come to Christ, and become forever changed. A lot of them also get healed through a prayer of faith, and in extreme cases from broken backs to deaf ears. To God be the glory! Though the biggest miracle is when God reaches down and pulls a slimy sinner out of the murky clay and cleanses them with the blood of Jesus. Going house to house or being invited to evangelize at school etc., shouldn’t be done alone. The apostles didn’t go alone and neither should we.
And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ. Acts 5:42
“…how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, 21 testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” Acts 20:20-21
- Again, I challenge you to apply one of these methods to your life. It is the most rewarding thing to lead somebody to Christ and their life be forever changed. The world will change one person at a time, starting with you. Make a comment below if you have any other methods you’d like to share, or if you’d like me to pray for guidance as you start evangelizing. God bless!

Hey,
I will be praying for you as I don’t know your situation with them. I know its hard losing friends or family, but it is something we have to go through sometimes. Have you gone up to them and asked them in person? God bless!
Justin,
I can appreciate your passion. When I was in the church I also had it…until I began to ask the hard questions that no one wanted to answer. For example, if God were truly an individual we are supposed to worship through literal interpretations of the Bible, wouldn’t he be limited? Anything that is an individual or personal has to be limitation because any individual itself is limited to being that individual. Is God limited? Of course not. God’s much bigger than than. And All of us are connected to this divine source.
It took me a while to see this, but not being afraid to question can lead us to some great revelations.
Again, I respect your position and passion. But be careful trying to force what YOU think is right onto someone else. If they haven’t walked in your shoes, they are not going to be able to see it the way you do.
Blessings!
Joshua,
I’m not sure about your question as God is far from limited. He really isn’t an individual as it’s a Trinity with a God who has emotions. I can think of much harder questions that could really spin your head and cause confusion, but won’t do so. God is a living God for the living that continues to do the most radical things in my life, and in the lives of those around me.
Many can relate to me as I have walked in most people’s shoes. I’ve been as poor as one can be living on the streets, to living a crippled lifestyle having suffered a sever motorcycle accident that shattered my femur in 25+ places. Glory to God I am healed! In fact I’ve seen over 100+ people healed in the last 6 months. Some can be found here in the prayer videos.
To sum up everything, God is unlimited. The Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End! He was here before time ever began and is wider than the universe. These miracles I witness are nothing compared to His true glory!
God bless you Joshua, I hope I’m not “forcing” anything on you. I really want your eyes to see what I see as well. I encourage you to ask God to show you more of His Spirit!
